Build Mode & customization
- Build Mode: since v0.1.57, moving worktops and counters also moves the items on top of them.
- Colors: v0.1.57 lets you change wall, floor and ceiling colors when editing their designs.
- My Designs: use PNG images as custom designs. A reload option picks up images edited outside the game without restarting (host only in multiplayer).
- Partitions: Partition Wall and Half Partition Wall (Wood) unlock at Shop Lv.10, matching the shop expansion.
- Coming: move multiple structures at once and a meal ticket machine (early stage), plus shop layout presets (mid stage).
Layout tip: keep the sink, stove and Ramen Bowl Shelf close together, and keep tray routes to tables clear. v0.1.57 also eased chair collision at tables.
My Designs details
The store page says you can use your own drawings on posters, noren and ramen bowls. Visit a friend's shop to leave your signature, and use your designs on clothes to make matching uniforms. My Designs can appear on Wide Noren (Day 1), and the selection screen centres designs that fit the chosen surface.
Gimmick equipment
The store page mentions unusual equipment with gimmicks, such as toilets and gas cylinders. Patch notes also reference a dumbwaiter (its doors open automatically on arrival), an elevator, a gramophone, Andon Lanterns, bamboo blinds, sofa seats and seat number tags.
Character customization
Customize clothes, body type, emotes and even your noodle-draining motion (store page).
Frequently asked questions
Can I use my own images in the shop?
Yes. My Designs uses PNG images, and they can be reloaded in game.
Can I move several objects at once?
Not yet. It's planned for the roadmap's early stage.
