Multiplayer basics
- Online co-op for up to 6 players, with spatial voice chat (Steam page).
- The host controls World Settings and can reload My Designs.
- Since v0.1.57 the host can kick players. A kicked player can't rejoin that room, but can join a new room the host creates.
- Text chat is planned for the roadmap's mid stage.
Suggested role splits

| 3 | Prep / Cook & plate / Serve & clean |
| 4 | Prep / Noodles / Soup & plating / Front |

Fewer than six players? Fill the gaps with NPC staff.
Joining and connection tips
- Rooms can be joined with an invitation code. The Day 1 patch improved automatic retries when a room temporarily can't be found.
- Connection failures now show the cause, suggested fixes and an error code. v0.1.57 improved the instructions for retrying manually.
- Voice chat mute and push-to-talk settings apply as soon as you join (fixed in Day 1 and v0.1.57).
- Spatial voice chat changes with distance and walls, so call orders loudly or stand near the pass.
What only the host can do
Change World Settings, reload My Designs, and kick players. Kicked players can rejoin only if the host creates a new room.
